97% Grenache, 3% Syrah. The MAHA Estate and James Berry Vineyard join forces again to create one badass Grenache. A deep magenta color pulls you into the glass. Notes of cranberry, muddled spring flowers, musk and Absinthe conjure a scene from Moulin Rouge. Steeped cherries, candied orange peel, anise, white pepper and modest tannins transition to a generous palate with great purity and precision. Several years of cellaring will reward those who have restraint and patience. For those of you who want a YUMMY Grenache NOW (think Veruca Salt), splash decant it and watch the Moulin Rouge emerge.
